ALORAN, a perspective
INUM

Sometime in the 1970s, Vizmin Montes, connected at the time with the government's Information Agency, submitted a Report stating that Misamis Occidental has the highest consumption of alcohol per capita in the country.

He added (off the record) that Aloran dwarfed the other municipalities.
I believed him.

Evidence is a-plenty.

I'm not sure if I should be proud or ashamed of, but fact is fact.

When Aloranons gather, be it here or anywhere else, Inum;

When Aloranons visit fellow Aloranons in the diaspora, Inum;

When Aloranons come home from overseas, Inum;

When Aloranons celebrate, Inum;

Log-on to Facebook, heaps of Posts by Aloranons, Inum;

Just for the heck of, Inum;

SAMPLE OF INUM VOCABULARY

B> Palahubog, easily gets drunk with less;

And here's our anthem that I don't hear any more in INUMAN these days.

Imna na ang imong tagay
Imna lang sa hinay-hinay
Kun dili imnun, kun dili imnun Ilhanan'g dili ta managso-on

Chorus
Humana sila, ako wa pa
Humana sila, ako wa pa
Kuan kuan

A wife asked her husband, Can't you Aloranons just gather without Inum?

I can answer that, no way Jose!
