SAUDI ARABIA HERE I COME My first International flight (KAL)!

After a teary goodbye, I boarded Korean Airlines flight to Dharan, KSA. "Welcome To My World", was, and maybe still is, KAL's official tune, and as such was played over and over again during the long flight. A souvenir package was handed to each of us: a KAL Boeing 747 model plane, a casette tape, and a postcard. After a long flight, we arrived Dharan, and met by Dong Ah's guys led by a Filipino who I remember only as Joe. We rested for couple of hours, and Joe offered us coffee/tea, and snacks while chatting about the company, Dong Ah! We were shuttled to Dammam, some miles away, where we waited for the shuttle bus that will bring us to Riyadh, the kingdom's capital, a five-hour drive, west, towards the middle part of the kingdom.
