Like the past two years, I was consistent. Still top of the class and little by little, acting like a true leader. President of the class and senator of the Student Supreme Council. And on my social life, I was now quite serious, no longer timid, with my relationship with her. We spend plenty of time together, in the campus, immersed with ourselves talking about anything. The Graduating Class of 1971 was controversial. The issue was, who really was the true valedictorian. But we couldn't be bothered. That graduation night, we were in our own little world. That's when we knew, now I thought, that it's going to be "us". |
