NEW ZEALAND Aotearoa (The Land of Long Clouds) AUCKLAND It's always nice to have friends!

A year or so before I arrived in Auckland, most of my mates at Morningside Drive and some of their relatives and friends have already beachhead in the city. Like Sendo, from Cebu City, is employed in a printing press company, always gives us heads-up of any part-time jobs availability. He and Ruel, having wheels, were always there for garage sales, and outings on weekends and holidays. Wellington, Rotoroa, Manukau,,, were among the places I had the privilege of visiting. There were others: Yong-yong, Danny, and others whose names have slipped through the cracks, yet the memories we shared are vivid.
