SUNGKA

This game traces its origin back to Pharaonic Egypt.

The Sungka-an.!

Typically wooden and has seven pockets on each side and two stores (big pockets), one on each end.

The Play.

Two players facing each other.
Player A (PA) owns the seven pockets on his/her side and the store on his/her left-side.
Conversely, Player B (PB) owns the others.

Initially both players start the game simultaneosly.
Each will pick all the peebles from any of the own seven pockets and in clock-wise direction, drops one on every pocket including the opponent's, and in own's store.

When the last peeble drops:

.. In an opponent's pocket and the pocket has peeble(s) in it, the player picks all of them and do another loop.
.. In an opponent's pocket and the pocket is empty, the player stops and waits for next turn.

.. In own pocket and the pocket has peeble(s) in it, the player picks all of them and do another loop.
.. In own pocket and the pocket is empty: if the opponent's pocket opposite it has peeble(s), the player grabs them all and place them in own store (this is called HANTOK) and waits for next turn.
.. In own pocket and the pocket is empty: if the opponent's pocket opposite it is empty too, the player stops and waits for next turn.

The player that has the most peebles in own store, wins.
